  1. take the batteries out of it and let it sit in a cold place for a couple of days like in front of your ac vent then in a couple of days put batteries in it and try it.

  2. Hi  Ashanti.   Sorry to hear about your camera.   Unfortunately,  if your camera does not turn on after replacing the batteries,  it might just be lost cause but if a camera repair tech cannot evaluate  damage by describing it over the phone,  your best advice might not be on this site.  I know that the owner's manual specifically warns against  leaving a camera in a hot car so there must be a reason.    My advice is to take the camera to your local camera repair shop and ask for an estimate.   At our shop, we charge $12.00 to examine the camera and give the customer an estimate on how much it will cost to repair it.    If the customer decides to repair it,  we don't even charge the $12.00.   That may be what you should do just to see if the repairs are worth the current value of the camera.   Good luck.

  3. If replacing the batteries does not make a difference, your camera is ruined and all you can do is replace it.  Being careless is expensive, isn't it?

  4. my guess is it could be done for.   Bring in the houes, out of light, change the battaries and see what happense

  5. Heat and electronics do not mix well.
