How do i fix my cigarette lighter in my car

it doesn't work. could the problem be a fuse or maybe the whole thing..? and could i buy a replacement at autozone or something

First thing I would do is buy a new lighter(not socket) and see if that fixes it.Then check the fuses if it didn't.

If you haven't check it, the fuse would be the first place to check (in all electrical problem).

go to your car dealer and order new lighter doheeki...of course after chking fuse..usually there another accesory that shares w/ a fuse ..so if theres another 1 not working meaning you got a bad fuse

It could be the fuse. It could also be a broken wire or a bad ground connection. If you check all of these things and they are ok then just the element that pushes in could be bad. Either way you can buy just the element or the whole thing at Autozone or most any other parts store.GOOD LUCK!!!

try changing the switch in the switch box under the hood. or it might be by the driver door, if you can't find it look at your driver manual for the right switch.
