  1. Have you ever had your irons checked for lie angle? If the heel digs it will cause your ball to hook.

    If thats correct

There are three types of hooks, and the common factor in all three are a closed club face at impact. Make sure your not getting too flat with your swing plane, perhaps weaken your grip a little, and #1 Finish Your Swing! (That means all weight transfered, and proper extension)

  2. That's exactly how I am, I asked someone to look at my swing and they helped me realize I eas coming over the top. THis means your swing plane is bent a lot. You're supposed to swing on the same plane when taking a swing. Try slowing down your swing and getting the plane right.

  3. These questions are tough to answer when you cant see someones golf swing.  Check your clubface in several key positions in the backswing.  When the club reaches parallel for the first time going back, the toe should be directly up.  At the top of your swing the clubface should be parallel to your left forearm (if you're right handed).  You'll need a mirror to check this one.  Also at the top the club should be parallel to your target line.  If you're in those two positons at the top, you will have a hard time hitting a hook.

  4. go to the range and try to slice 20 balls the worst slice you can. then try a hook, then you can find the middle ground by feel instead of correcting something that might not need it. if you cant hit a slice have your clubs checked. it could be shaft length or club heads.
