How do i fix my ipod??!!!

okay so i just plugged my ipod into my computer like 7 or 8 minutes ago, and it showed that it was plugged it because it said "do not disconnect"

but then i just tried downloading music onto it and it showed that it wasn't plugged in when it was. i tried reseting my ipod and unplugging it from the USB cord but nothings happening!! my ipod NEVER shows that its plugged into then computer when it is, and suprisingly it did today for like 4 minutes. PLEASE HELPPPP!

Try changing the usb to the ones on the back of your computer...

toggle the hold switch, then hold the select and menu button until the apple logo shows, then immediately after, hold the select and play button.

then plug it back in, you might also need to restore it

i have the same kind of ipod nano u do. that sounds really weird, and u might not wanna mess with it too much or something worse culd appen. I say, go the apple store online and call the number and explain ur problem.

Call Apple customer service, or see if there are any software upgrades for your iPod or iTunes. have the latest version can help with those problems.

Open iTunes, go to Help > Check for Updates. Or use one of the other Help menus.
