How do i fix my ps2 game?

i bought my new game tony hawk amercian wasteland it was used. and it was all messed up and laggy so i took it back where i bought it and they buffed it out because it had so many scratches on it and then i went back home and now it dosnt work at all the disk so if u help the will be very helpful thx

return it again, and i would reccomend getting project 8 if you dont have it, its funner, in my opinion,

it is because you can never ever take all the scratches out of a disc that does not work just try in get another copy of the game if they don't have one just get your money back in try another gamestop are where ever you bought it from :) ava06
