How do i fix my spysweeper?

A friend of my sisters tried to fix a problem on my laptop and ended up turning some shields off on my spysweeper. What do I do? I keep getting warnings that i need to sweep my computer.

  1. get spybot search and destroy (google it)

    its free, and its better than spysweeper
