  1. On old TVs there was a "button" that would adjust the horizontal positioning of the picture.  I'd read the manual and see if there is anything in the setup or menu that would allow you to do this.

  2. new tv. sorry.

  3. Unless you have access to the vertical and horizontal hold adjustments, there's nothing you can do. Call a service person and maybe they can either adjust or replace the necessary transistors that control these conditions.

Most of the sets of today just have plug-in circuit boards that control different actions of the tv, and are usually not that expensive.

  4. The problem is called vertical fold-over. SInce you have told that the model is a newer one, it must be under warrenty, call the service centre.

  5. More than likely you have  a electrolytic cap that is leaking in  the vertical sweep circuits.  It is  anywhere from a 5 mfg to a 1000 mfg cap.  My experience with the older tvs it was always  a 100 mfg cap.  The only thing you could try is remove the back and  find the vertical height control and adjust it very carefully.  Even though it is almost a  new  t v the rating on the voltage is always too low as long they can pass it for 10 % tolerence.  Long story for you.  The control could have a little dirt in it and by turning it may clean it up some.  Nine of ten you will need an expert to repair that problem.   The caps have to be disodered with a low watt pencil iron.  No more than 15 to 20 watts or you will damage the microscopic foil.  We call it ribbon foil.

  6. samck it hard on the side

  7. punch it
