How do i fix radio,speedometer,and odometer?

after changing my battery the radio, speedometer, and odometer stopped working.

  1. Check all of your fuses... the most likely scenario is that you may have inadvertantly shorted them out.


  2. Take it to a garage. It's not legal to tamper with these things.

  3. Many later model car radios have a code you have to enter after they're disconnected from battery voltage. It's an anti-theft measure. Check in your glove box or factory literature that came with the car.

    As far as the speedo and odometer, check the fuse on later model cars. On older cars, it's strictly a mechanical cable. Either way, both problems are probably related.

    As usual, you could get a lot better advice if you included your car's Year, Make, Model, and in many cases, Engine size.
