You're far better off to call that one a loss and replace it sweetie. There is no fix for that. Lowe's has the same door for $31.00. Here's a link. Don't waste your money and kill yourself trying to fix that.  Who's head went throughthat door anyway? LOL.

Get a couple of wooden planks andd nail them over it.

you need to fasten something to the broken piece so that you can pull it toward you into the hole: either drive a small s***w into the center, affix a small stick with hot glue, etc.

run a bead of carpenter's glue around both surfaces and pull the piece back flush. when dry, sand, fill as needed and prime\paint.
