How do i fix this problem with my sanyo tv?

Question

the audio video input still works but when you plug a playstation into it, it will make a noise and the picture will be all messed up and you have to tape the chord to make it get back to normal. if you stomp on the ground near the tv or drop something on the ground the picture will get all messed up and the sound will come up again

its not the playstation because it works fine on my other tv

how do i fix this?

It sounds like you have a bad connector on the TV.  Make sure the problem is not with the cable itself though.

If you are sure the cable is good, then you may have to have the TV repaired.  It is also possible that the connector on the TV just needs to be cleaned.  You might try a bit of rubbing alcohol on a q-tip to clean the connector.  It is worth a try.

If the problem is still there, the TV will need to be replaced or repaired.  Unless you are a skilled electronics technician, I would not attempt this repair yourself.
