  3. You're not meant to flip an egg when you're making an omelette. You first have to make a mix with the egg and pour it into the pan. Here's a good site with a great recipe: http://www.pineapple-girl.com/omelet.htm

  4. Make sure it's cooked properly on the side in contact with the pan first. Then, it is easier to flip the egg since it is one whole half-cooked piece. It is best to use a spatula that is relatively flat so it is easier to get under the egg.

Also, a very important thing is to make sure there is sufficient oil and that it is spread out more or less evenly in the pan (or wok) because if the oil is not spread out, the egg will stick to the pan where there's no oil and it is difficult to remove the residue later on when you are cleaning up.

After you flip, let the egg get cooked for a while and you will get this really nice piece of egg. It is up to you if you want to cut it up into smaller pieces (using your spatula to do so in the midst of cooking).

If you want, you can also fold it into quarters. Hope this has been helpful!

  5. you first fold it after you put all of your stuf fin:

    cheese

    tomatoes

    etc

then you dun need to flip it

just let it cook, leave it a little raw and when you put it on your plate, the heat should cook the rest, i learnt from food technology class :D hope this helps

  6. I have an easy way, that Paula Dean did.  Mix your eggs and put in your ingrediants...all in a small bowl.  Take a freezer bag and put the mixture inside.  Take some water on the stove and when it hits a boil, put in your baggie...makes perfect little omelets, with no extra oil or butter and you don't have to flip it!

  7. Use your bare hand

  8. To flip an omelet. You need to mix the egg in a bowl. Medium heat the pan with olive oil or butter. Pour a small amount into the heated pan. You want to make it like a crepe in order to flip it like a pro. If you want to add ingredients, do so just before it's done.

    Enjoy!
