How do i format/change a mp4 movie file to mp3 movie file?

Question

ok i have this *** sucking SONY movie camera and when i plug it in and put the movie on my computer and i want to edit it with windows movie maker (wmm) and it says i cant import the .mp4 movie file how to i change the file or how do i make wmm work with .mp4's any help!?!?

well first there's no such thing as a mp3 movie file

and you need to use quicktime or itunes in order to use the mp4 file since mp4 is an apple file format

or can get any conversion software online if your willing to pay s small fee.

i wouldnt really blame your camera cause movie maker accepts maybe three files (.avi, .wmv, and .mpeg (not completely sure though))  but your best bet is finding an .avi or wmv converter.  try to find an avi if you can because it has higher quality but a bigger file size.
