How do i format my memory card on my S400 digital camera?

Every camera is different, so only someone w/ that camera will be able to answer specifically.

Most often, you go into menu or to view mode, and there should be an option to format.  It should ask you to confirm it.

Just double and triple check that you copied the pics to your computer!    I didn't double check one day, and I lost all my christmas video!    :(   I learned the hard way!
