I have got a goodmans HD ready TV with built in freeview. I live in the south east of england about 35 miles south of London so getting freeview shouldn't be a problem? Also my sisters tv's have freeview boxes connected and they get ALL the channels, and the main tv in the living room has built in freeview like mine but also gets all the channels... is it something wrong with my tv??

  1. Assuming you have done a full scan

The channels are in groups called muxes.

Chnaces are the channels you are missing are all on the same mux

This means your aerial is either not aligned correctly or it is not strong enough.

  2. With digital broadcasting it is the signal level that is critical, and not all tv tuners are as sensitive as might be needed.  Making sure you have a good aerial connection, and adding in a booster if necessary, could be what you need.   Are you using the same aerial as the main tv?  It will be no good using a separate indoor aerial and expecting to get all channels.

  3. try re-installing the channels again

ive had to do it before

Find menu and then go install automatically.

if it doesnt work try changing your signal or something.

  4. Assuming from nearby, borrow one of the working Freeview boxes to show if thr signal/aerial is adequate at your house.

  5. im sure the simple reason is you haven't fully scanned it. to do this go on menu then under something it will say install automatically or something like that
