  1. You don't. Once it has set it's like a plastic coating.

  2. If it has dried you can't

  3. Things You’ll Need:

    Turpentine

    2 clean sponges

    Mild detergent

    1 cup luke-warm water

    Clean water for rinsing

    Hair spray or hand sanitizer

    Toothbrush or stiff cleaning brush

    Mild detergent

    Clean water for rinsing

    Remove an Oil-Based Paint Stain

    Step1

Clear away any excess paint by scraping or toweling it off. To scrape, use a blunt edged knife or piece of cardboard. Another option is to use a towel to blot the excess away.

    Step2

Place a small amount of turpentine on a sponge and blot the paint-stained area. The paint comes out of the fabric and leaves the oily residue of the turpentine solvent behind.

    Step3

Add 1 teaspoon mild detergent to 1 cup of lukewarm water and mix.

    Step4

Use a clean sponge to blot the previously stained area with the water and detergent mixture to remove the oily solvent residue.

    Step5

Rinse the area with clean water.

  4. I've had this problem before and you simply can't get it out.  No amount of turps does the trick.  All turps does is make the fabric and the room stink and the smell just doesn't go away.  Rather than spending hours faffing about with this,  whilst getting more and more frustrated, ( I speak from experience) then having to accept defeat I would just resign yourself to the fact that you're not going to be able to conquer this one.

  5. You might have to take it in to a drycleaners tell them what it is they should be able to help as it s very risky trying to do it Your self as it ight ruin the fabric You wil have to pay but it will be cheaper than replacing them
