How do i get WMV files to play on my laptop?

I have a ACER Aspire 5720 laptop with all the gimmicks running vista sp1, yet i cant run WMV files through media player 11.

Can anybody please help me with this. Thanks in advance.

  1. Down load " VLC media player " it plays all videos and music files
