How do i get a Vista Home Basic OEM disk?

It doesn't have a backup of vista on the hard drive and i don't have a cd with vista on it but it has a product key for vista home basic on the bottom. Is there a way to download a vista upgrade for free legally and use my product key? also will it activate?

Download it off bittorrent, And yes if it is your version of Vista it will authenticate.

You can call them for a replacement CD, which should only cost you shipping and will work.

Any way you choose, eh i'd save money and go with the first.

It is better to contact the manufacturer of your computer because I think when you contact Microsoft, they will tell you to do the same thing.
