How do i get a a Write Protection off a song?

Im trying to drag songs from my itunes library to a sd card that goes into my phone and it says that this song is write protected and it says something about converting it. Please help!

  1. use iTunes to burn it into a CD. Then turn around and burn that CD back onto your PC as regular MP3 files. Might be two steps, but it works. Thats why i refuse to use anything iTunes/iPod/Apple related.
