  1. Rust remover helps with blood stains. You'll never know it was there! Rit has one that actually works pretty well - you'll find it next to the dyes in the laundry aisle.

  2. Fels-Naptha bar soap.  If you look at Albertsons by the hand soaps and stuff (I don't know why it's not by the laundry stuff, but anyway).  Just wet an old toothbrush and use it to scrub some of the soap on there as a prewash.  I used to have to do this to my bedsheets all the time because I would get bloody noses during the night.

ALSO:  If it happens again and it's your blood, if you rub some of your saliva on it while it's still damp, it comes out easier in the wash.

  3. A mosquito bit through the sweatshirt? Holy...

Blood is a particularly sticky stain because the protein hemoglobin will actually get its stubborn little hands and grab onto fabric. How do you kill stuff?

Basically, you gotta destroy the hemoglobin with acid (vinegar, lemon), base (detergent, ammonia), salt, maybe even heat! If its white white try diluted bleach. That should do the trick, good thing its white.

  4. Hydrogen peroxide then Spray and Wash

  5. use some oxi clean or something to get the stain out

  6. Pre-treat the area in question with some Shout, Resolve, or Spray-n-

Wash for about 5-10 minutes, & wash hoodie in cold water with your

favorite laundry detergent and dry on low setting.

  7. The #4 formula of Carbona Stain Devils..You can get them at most grocery stores..
