  2. you'll need to eat lots of greens. no sugars and as little dairy as possible. take protien supplements and do weight cicits four or five times a week. the other three or four days a week you HAVE to do cardio. if you do not do cardio you will not get the oxygen need to the muscles to grow right. start with low weights with high reps. eventually you have to move to medium weight and do your reps with explosion not just a push.

  3. He was busted for steroids but obviously he works hard on his training.  He probably cross trains with weights and cardio along with his Jui Jitsu and Muay Thai,  do that for 8 hours a day for a few years and no one will want to fight you.

  6. this guy works out two maybe three times a day has a strength and conditioning coach and uses a lot of protien suppliments. it will be hard to look that good

Don't listen to the guy above me.  One of my friends is a doctor, and he's more buffed than Thiago Alves.  But then again, he's been working out ever since high school.  My friend plays a lot of sports and works out about 4 times every week.  He does a lot of low rep high weight work outs - very intense workouts.  He weighs more than 170lbs, but he's taller than Thiago.  He eats like a mad man - a lot of lean beef, pork, chicken, eggs, fruits and vegetables.  He supplements his diet with creatine and protein shakes.  You should've seen this guy when he was in high school.  He was already benching 300+ lbs.  Captain of the basket, track and volleyball team.  In fact, he was in the New York State Volleyball team.

    It's never too late to start.  And don't forget that genetics have something to do with it.  If you don't have the good physical genes, then it'll be hard for you to look like Thiago.

  9. To start off with, why don't you plan an easier goal. Lets face it, you will never ever look like him.  Unless your on welfare or a full time fighter/athlete, you have a job. That means you can't devote 100% of your time to working out like Thiago Alves can. If you want to get in good shape, join MMA like he is in. Those are the exercises he is doing. Also make a weight training program.. here is an example of mine

    Monday - Legs

    Tuesday - Arms

    Wednesday - Chest

    Thursday - Back

    Friday - Shoulders

    Saturday - Rest

    Sunday - Rest

    Do 5 sets of 20, not too heavy weight about medium.
