  1. You need to be properly zoned and there needs to be a need for a tower.   The placement of the towers is very important, as they all relate to each other so you are usually approached if they need one with an offer.

    If you have cell phone coverage on your land you can pretty much determine there is no need for a tower there.

    If you do not have coverage it would not hurt to let the city planners know you want a tower.    They are the ones that help the phone companies figure out where to place them on the plot maps, so they would know if any companies are trying to figure out placement.

    It will lower your resell value because the leases are for 99 years and any new owners would be stuck with them.

  3. You have to convince the cell companies they need to put one there.

    By the way, that will decrease your property value DRASTICALLY.  In this market, I wouldn't do anything that would cause negative value declines.

  5. If the cell companies are interested they will approach you and offer to lease a part of your property.
