How do i get a file from a sony handycam to open and edit on the computer?

the model number is: dcr-dvd105.

we called the hotline they said that there is no usb cable so it makes it more difficult for us.

we started to finalize the disk and the camcorder turned off. we dont know if that made a difference. so please help me and answer!

That's never good news!  Have you tried to finalise it again?  You could try copying the files with DVDDecrypter, but if that doesn't work you'll need a data recovery tool like IsoBuster.
