How do i get a group i left to stop sending notifications?

I left agroup and thought that I shut it down quite some time ago but when new members join (random cyber people) i am still getting a message. I went in and attempted to change that but it won't let me change to web only and the group should be gone completely.

Go to "Options" on the right side of your email page

Click on "Mail Options"

Click on "Block Address"

Enter the address you want blocked

Click on "Add Block"

Click on “Save”

Or click on the emails and hit the spam button
