  1. Am I on the wrong site?  In the UK you go to your Citizens Advice Bureau and if you can convince them that you have a case of wrongful dismissal, then they will arrange for a lawyer under the legal aid scheme. If you are in the USA then, sorry, I've no idea what you should do.

  2. From a lawyer.  The only way is if your case is worth at least $50,000 or so.  Your damages determine how much it is worth.  Elements of damages would be inability to find a job paying as much, (making more than you did is bad), medical and future medical expenses for a psychiatrist or psychologist for treating your mental anguish, lost time from work/income, and whether it was so bad that a jury would award high punitive damages.  Post the details and I'll give you an opinion of the value of your case.

  3. Someone must have complained about you at work.

Some States like Arizona, I can just fire you and give no reason.

    This will follow you forever.

I require any such complaints be in writing.

Without telling all the story, I would say no.

  4. you be your own lawyer

  5. Your county bar organization will provide you with indigent legal services if you qualify (check their web page). In addition, you may want to apply for unemployment and let them do some of the fighting for you. This is a good way to collect discovery material without legal fees. In addition, your former employeer will have to state officially the reason for you termination. As an employeer in an at-will state, I am careful to not give a reason when I terminate an employee.

  6. Bow chica wow wow. Is about the only way I know how. If it was wrongful you may not like that idea. If you are a perv, it may make sense.

  7. A lot of lawyers have free consultations and they will let you know after that if you have a case or not.  Definitely do your research though, you want a good lawyer.  As far as the $ is concerned you should be able to pay the fee after the settlement or from the settlement rather.  Also you might want to check into any lawyers who offer pro bono-

Pro bono publico (usually shortened to pro bono) is a phrase derived from Latin meaning "for the public good." The term is sometimes used to describe professional work undertaken voluntarily and without payment as a public service. It is common in the legal profession and is increasingly seen in marketing, technology, and strategy consulting firms. Pro bono service, unlike traditional volunteerism, uses the specific skills of professionals to provide services to those who are unable to afford them.

  8. Fat chance, lawyers are greed driven.

  9. I would be surprised if an attorney would take your case. Not that you do not have a good case. But, the amount that you may be awarded will barely cover legal fees, not to mention, you leave court with little or nothing. You should file your own case in small claims court or federal court for wrongful termination. No need for an attorney.

  10. wikipedia it

  11. Ask the court if you can have one appointed to you. Or sometimes you see the lawyer commercials on television, I would give one of those firms a chance. They can be very helpful and often times they give free advice that can really help. Hope you win your case!
