I just started a blog and i want to get high in google search machine. So i'm asking how do i get a lot of backlinks?

CONTENT, CONTENT, AND CONTENT -- the more quality content you have, the higher the likelihood people will link back to you.

Some strategies:

1. Network with other bloggers and get them to put your link in their blog roll. If they have 1000 pages, then you have backlinks from 1000 pages!

2. Give substantive comments on other blogs. Don't just say "Great post. Visit my blog at blah blah blah" -- you stand a high chance of being banned from the blog and your comment deleted

3. Submit press release. Announce to the world your new blog. ress releases allow you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back links to your website without sending each website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News.
