How do i get a pet on WoW?

I am a level 5 on World of Warcraft, i see evryone with pets, i want one for myself, can someone tell me what i need to do??

If you are not a hunter and are talking about Non Combat pets or "companions" there are several ways to obtaining these.  There are sites dedicated on just vanity pets.

If you are a hunter there is a chain quest that will start in your "home" area that will teach you the uses of the spells in order obtain a pet.

All hunter pets have their own starting abilities and the pets can also learn new abilities.

what you need to do is make a hunter (dwarfs are ideal as they are the best with guns and reach level 10 you will then find a quest about beasts, its a 4-5 chain quest and very simple, when you are complete you will have the ability to tame beasts to make them your pet.

If you make a character on the realm ARATHOR add GALYN and ill help you out alot!

You have to be a hunter, at level ten theres a quest in Darnassus if you're alliance. Its a 4 chain quest i think.
