How do i get a provisional license?

im 27 ive no pass port and the only id i have is a birth certivicate, how much is it and where do i start, id love to get a car x

i am sorry i am not completely sure but about 2 weeks ago i applied for a provisional licence and when i done it i think i had to provide my passport number or something like that off the passport.

go to your local post office & pick up a provisional licence form.

go to ur nearest post office and grab urself a provisional licence application form.i didnt have a passport just sent off my birth cetificate with it.u will need a qualified person ie teacher,shop keeper,nurse etc to cetify theyve known u for at least 3 years and sign ur photo to say its you.send off a cheque for the exact sum and ull be able to start  ur lessons as soon as u recieve ur photocard. that will cost u £45. safe driving.
