  1. go to google and search for your reptile lisences in your area - and yes you do need one for those animals. then you send in infromation which you print of the website and send it in. it usually takes 3 weeks to come before you can get the pet but sometimes longer . :) good luck!!!

  2. Slither into the National Parks & Wildlife Dpt.

  3. go here it has the form!!

    hope i helped

  4. Yep you will need a license to keep any snakes or turtles in Australia.

For WA licensing information and application forms visit :

    Hope this helps! =)

  5. Reptile licensing is done on a state by state basis in Australia (we'll argue the stupidity of THAT rule elsewhere...) so you need to contact your state environmental agency (see contact details below)

WA have really strict laws that you can't import any reptiles from out of state and can only keep native, locally occuring species. This does, however, mean you get to keep Stimson's pythons (my first snake - definitely recommended!) blackheaded pythons, womas and carpet pythons.

There are also a couple of types of turtle you can keep. Check out http://www.pilbarapythons.com/home.htm

    Good luck!
