We are going to be out of town for 3 weeks and we can't afford to park our car in the parking lot at the airport for that long. We don't want to bring our car seat either, we already have lots of lugagge. Can we get a taxi ride without a car seat?

  1. why not just get a little booster seat from walmart that is like 15 dollars.  then you can check it onto the plane.  if you are going to be gone for 3 weeks, you are going to need somehing to get around during that time.  make sure they fit into the height and weight requirements first though.

if not, the taxi place might have one they can bring along.  just ask.

  2. You can get a taxi ride with out a car seat. They don't care they just want your money. However I would suggest first trying to get a ride from a friend first and just getting the car seat back when you return, just in case an accident should acure, not to mention that cops can still pull over a taxi and give you a ticket for not having your toddler in a car seat.

  3. Most states have exemptions for riding in public vehicles (such as busses and taxi's) regarding car seats.  But some taxi companies have car seats available.  I suggest calling a few in advance and checking.

The other option is to look for a shared-ride airporter van.  The ones that operate in my area have car seats for toddlers available.

  4. Do you have a good friend that could take you to the airport?  You can use your regular car seat in their car, and then they can just keep your car seat in their car trunk or house while you are gone.  Otherwise, I would try calling a taxi company to see if they have car seats, but I think that is doubtful.

  5. taxi ya you can get a taxi ride with out one...

    or a bus
