How do i get a sponsorship in freestyle skiing?

ok i've been skiing for about 15 year and freestyle skiing sence i was like 6-7 years old and i want to take it to the next level, so what can i do to get sponsered. anything will help

For sure, start video taping yourself - consider it yoru resume.

Kick some hiney in all the competitions you can.

Get a job at a local boardshop.  A local shop is your best bet at a sponsorship, and getting a job there will hopefully boost your chances and let you rub elbows with the right people. I know a skier who got sponsored by surface and zumiez even tho they're pretty much snowboarding stuff.  

Have the personality people are looking for.  No one looks up to cocky *** holes who wont even give you the time of day because they think yoru below them.  In the competitions, help other people out, give boarders a bit of a pull if they need it, stuff like that.  Just act like a nice guy. and SMILE, its the first thing people like about you.  You never know, one of those people could be like an undercover agent from Armada or Line or somethign like that scouting the talent.

you can get on a freestyle team i know there are many theres one in winter park but it depends where you live.

i would suggest you enter some local comps at local resorts around your srea...i order to get sponsored the sponsers want to see what you have to offer...and 2 comps isn't going to do it...get on your local resorts ski team or park team...once you have like 10-15 comps under your belt enter comps that are sponsered by mountain dew, vans, chevy...its like a real job put the time and effor and start at the bottom and work your way up...good luck there are about 25,000 other like you trying to get sponsered so you need to stand out

this question is asked every other day,dude. you just have to ski, be outrageous with your moves and act like you are really a good person that is very marketable. then enter and, heres the hard part, win lots of competitions. then beat the bushes and ask every person and business you know. you can't really expect to get a big name company to sponsor you so start local and work your way up as you progress and send your videos out. you are producing top notch videos, right? you have to sell yourself . a clip from the cell phone video feature ain't gonna cut it. also doesn't hurt to live where this stuff is taken seriously. if you're from PA move to utah or something.
