How do i get a steamID avatar?

ive tried linking urls and it just doesn't seem to work, is there a website with prefitted steam avatars or something?

I jsut upload the Avatar form my hardrive. so if your haivng problems wiht getting the linked URL t owrok, jsut download the image you want as an avatar then uplaod it.

needs to be a 256*256 size image for ti to fit prpoerly ( it will be cropped n resized to fit if its too big/small)
