  1. Goto Horley Station, speak to the ticket clerk. If you are going to College at redhill or within the surrey area you will be eligable for a Student Pass which will give you a reduction on train tickets to Child Fare.  If you are going to Crawley or into Sussex, then you can obtain free travel to and from Horley to the local college station by paying a set fee for the term.

Both require photo ID and the paperwork the clerk will give you will have the details of who to contact and where, Sussex is via Internet to West Sussex Education, for East Sussex then its via Brighton and Hove, or Lewes.  Surrey is an application to Surrey Council in Guidford. Both applications take between 7 and 14 working days to complete and the passes are normally sent to Horley Station for final collection on receipt of a letter the authority sends back to you.

    Hope this helps

  2. I suppose if it is near london or  within zone 1-6 you could get an student oystercard

  3. ask at the college about help with travelling, they have the forms and who you need to contact information
