  1. Tough,

I think Mike was just saying to talk to the people at your local golf course and they'll help you through the process, which is correct. The easiest way is to talk to the people at the pro shop where you play and ask them exactly what you need to do. It's nothing difficult at all.

  2. You either have to establish a handicap through league play or you have to give your non-league score cards to the pro at the course where you play and he will submit your scores via a USGA maintained website. You may be able to play in your local tournaments as a scratch golfer and establish a handicap from the scores you submit. Not sure about that one.

    Question for Mike A:

Are you saying all you have to do is drop off your score card at any public course and they will keep track of your handicap for you?

If you've been a golf professional for 15 years since 1997, it would have to be 2012 by now.

    Thanks Vegas,

I agree, it's not difficult. I still don't get his math about the 15 years pro and ................. ah, forget it.

  3. Go to any local public golf course, and they will sign you right up
