How do i get a video from my cell phone memory card to my computer?

i take the card out of my phone and put it in my card reader and nothing is there and i have no usb

Your phone probably has some software you can load on your computer. This would be the easiest way to transfer files between your computer and phone. I have a Nokia. The phone came with a disk that has the PC software on it.

You might also try bluetooth transfer if you don't have the phone software.

Another possibility is to buy a video transfer application for your phone, so you can convert the video into a format that your computer will recognize.  My Nokia records video files in WAV format, which can not be read by Real Player or MP4, but I can convert them to one of these formats and view them on my PC.
