How do i get a youtube video onto my computer and then onto windows movie maker?

1.keepvid.com

2.file u save into your computer is type flv format. so u have to change back to format such as avi (not divx) or wmv. look for free flv to wmv at download.com

3. then this file is good for movie maker

well there is a way you can do it without using a site...

just download WinFF which is a video converting software(free!) once you have this go to youtube and get to the video you want to download. When you're there press ctrl alt & a together and it will bring up the activity window. Now inside the activity window it will display a list of all the thing running on the page- just find the video (it's usually the biggest file in the list  *will be in MB**) then double click and it will start to download.

One it is on your desktop or wherever you are downloading to just take it into Win FF and convert it into the appropriate file type which you are comfortable editing with...

You can also just convert movies into mp3 format so you only get the sound or you can convert into small screen for ipodss!!!
