  1. Art stores and craft stores that sell art supplies carry brush cleaner for acrylic paint.  It is a liquid that you use, then rinse your brushes.  If you do not have an art supply store near you, Michael's, and AC Moore carry it.

  2. I use acrylics and manage to get all of the paint out. I rinse the brush under running water. Just a trickle. But if you have allowed the brush to dry out with paint in them you will not be able to clean them. They are ruined.

When using acrylics keep brushes moist. Clean it frequently even while painting. After a painting session clean the brushes immediately.

  3. I use the Master Brush cleaner and preserver and just takes 10 minutes of restoring the brush, but if it doesn't come out the 2nd time or so many times just repeat the process.  I've restores some of my old hard paintbrush. Some had oil or glue on them.  Their are also some other brush cleaners out their as well, but i never used them.  Well good luck.

  4. Yup.

Use a hard soap you would wash your hand with. as long as the paint has not dried this is your best option.

After it has dried... forget it. any method that will get rid of the paint will ruin your brushes....

.... but you can try boiling water. Like making a cup of tea. Dip it in. This will soften the paint and you can strip it from the brush with a tiny tip knife.

  5. Soap, water, and a lot of scrubbing and hard work. It will damage the brushes to a certain degree if the paint is completely dry already. You should always clean out your brushes after every painting session to prevent this from happening again.

  6. rinse them under luke warm water and squeeze the bristles from the top and work your way down the bristles

    hope this helps

  7. Denatured alcohol. You can get it at most hardware stores.
