How do i get aim on my blackberry?

i just got a blackberry and i tryed to sign onto aim and it told me to go on blackberry.com/aim. i did that then it said connect device to computer and i did that. then it said "Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support AOL Instant Messenger for BlackBerry." ...i dont know what to do from here..can anyone help? thank you..

My black berry is only compatible with yahoo messenger and blackberry messenger according to the salesman. It will not work with the other messengers that I use on my computer.

I would check back with the people who sold it to you.

Try going to http://www.blackberry.com/instantmessagi... using your BlackBerry browser to see if it can be installed.

they have applications for that stuff

On your blackberry there is an icon that says something about instant messenger. I don't know exactly what the icon would look like or say on your type of blackberry, but if you click it and download the free app, then it will elt you log into AIM, YIM, ICQ and MSN. hope this helps!
