keep the tv on for her all the time, and change channels often, my birds like cartoons.and the disney channels but you talk to her a lot.

  2. Teach her lots and lots of words night and morning and he will get to talk to you. (does my advice help?)

  3. you could teach it by placeing a tape recorder or something reapeatedly 2 say a word eg like hello do it for 2 hours evryday then it should pick it up it worked with my tiels it should be easy 2 teach because its not that old so you should be ok

    good luck

  4. I have a 3 yo female and she speaks short sentences to my oldest son or to herself.  She mimics the microwave and calls his name loudly when the telephone rings and says "hello", even the TV.  Has a vocabulary of about 50 words. 15 are favorites.

He didn't have to try to get her to talk because she likes to.  She adores him.  He often held her on his index finger with her beak near his lips (they can feel the vibration) and talked softly.  She likes to be handled very gently.  By the 20th time or so she got the idea that he was trying to share sounds with her.  (You should mimic your birds sounds back, too.)

  5. Alexandrines are not the quickest to talk but like all birds, time ,patience and repitition are the secrets.

Repeat the same sentence over and over one day then the next day another . but include some of the words from the previous day.

    So it's repeat repeat!!!!
