  1. well i always get these pamphlets in the mail to come to boston to try out for hannah montana and icarly but i never do it because im not into acting.

  2. first of all, you can get discovered at school plays for local community theatres. They can get you a lot of experience. Your mom probably won't get you an agent because she thinks you are too much of a drama queen and too immature for a job with an agent. Remember, people on disney channel have had many years of experience before getting there in the big time. You need to perfect you skills. Also, live theatre (onstage) is much different than onset/ in-studio acting (film). Are you sure you're ready for that change? An agent is only affective if they are dedicated and you have the talent to put you up on the market. Become more professional or serious of your acting and you'll get to that level... if you have the passion.

  3. You need to first go to a talent agency and you give them your resume and headshot. If they like you they may call you in and interview you. And you may find an agent.

  4. first, you don't need an agent yet. second, you may think your good, but that doesn't mean professionals think the same way. third, being a drama queen ISN'T good! but if you want to hear what they think, and try out for a role on Disney channel go here-

it's not just hannah montana stuff, its all the Disney roles available.

    Edit:

The person who is below me is right, the music teachers and drama teachers who put the plays together have connections, and those connections usually come to the school play, and see if they've found the next big star.

And, a set is also VERY different then being on stage, like she said, the person below me. I've been on a set before for a TV show. Its completely different, and it becomes more of a job. i had a green screen behind me with 3 huge cameras staring at me with the lines on the projector/ camera 1.and the director staring at the footage of me and looking through the glass window at me to make sure everythings going smoothly- talk about pressure.
