THE LOW OHM LIGHT KEEPS POPPING ON WHEN THE AMP IS PLAYED BUT WHEN YOU TURN THE VOLUME UP ITS OK, BUT WHEN THE VOLUME IS DOWN LOW IT MAKES A HIGH PITCHED NOISE

  1. if it says "low ohm" then most likely you have wired the subwoofers under a load thats not stable for that amp.

pop the subwoofers out and re-check your wiring. know the ohm load of each sub by searching for that model specs.

once you have that, input the amount of subwoofers and the type of voice coils and their ohm load in this site. it will show you different wiring images and how to get different ohm loads.

choose a wiring option that best fits your amplifier.

  2. you could send your amplifier back to the manufacturer or get it repaired at a private business that repairs electronics be sure to find one that specializes in amplifiers

but first why wont you try to rewire your subwoofers to see how it works out, you may be running the amplifier exceeding its recomendations

i might be wrong but maybe the ohm light is telling you that you are clipping the signal from the deck to the amplifier.?? if so set your gains correctly

but it does sound like your amp is most likely damaged

  3. try getting a compasitor, if that doesnt work go to your locak radio shack or adio store
