best thing to do- Save before you talk to the guy in the trophy garden, then talk to him, if he doesn't say the pokemon you want, just turn of the DS and turn it on and talk to him again until he tells you the pokemon you want. Also a great way to get porygon and castform.

Or once you beat the elite four talk to a woman named bebe ( i believe in Hearthrome).

After you beat the champ go to the house next to the pokemon center in hearthome city. She gives you a free lvl 5 eevee. Itd probably be in your best interest to soft reset til you get a female one so you can get more. Hope i helped!

Check the trophy garden every day (it's south of hearthome) and talk to the owner. When he talks about eevee, that indicates that you can now catch them in his garden out back, for 2 days. Bring your poke radar, and try to streak them to catch more then one.

Don't waste your time looking if he doesn't talk about them though, they only appear when he does.
