How do i get an i.d from canada? do they even exist ?

  1. You get an ID from Canada by becoming a permanent resident of Canada or a Canadian citizen.  Here is a link to the Canadian immigration site.


  2. this guy has been asking this question for over a month now. he is neither a citizen nor a permanent resident... he's not even in canada! i think he said he wants to get an id to be able to gamble online or something like that.

    either way, he doesn't have any way of getting a canadian id.

  3. Be more specific.What ID do you need? are you a Canadian or a permanent resident? or a student or a temporary worker? if you're none of the above then you won't be able to get an ID

  5. The federal government issues passports and citizenship cards to citizens.  Non-citizens can get things like firearms licences with pictutres on them that have can serve as ID.  

    The provinces issue birth certificates to people born  in that province.  Also drivers licences and ID cards and health cards to residents.

    For al of them there is a form to fill out some of them requires tests.
