  1. It sounds like you are starting from scratch.

Do you have family or friends that you can stay with until you get situated again?

The most important thing is to try and stay positive. Don't fret over what you have lost.

Instead, make a list of your skills, abilities, assets, and blessings focus on how you can use them best.

  2. I cant imagine all of this happening to one person at one time.  Did you call the police on your room mate? Your car was stolen? Didnt you have insurance? If you got fired you could apply for unemployment. Explain your situation and show proof of police reports. The best thing for you to do is put your things in storage and stay with a friend or relative. if thats not an option then Id suggest looking up shelters in your area where you could stay until you have found a job and are able to get another apartment. However if you are on drugs then staying in a shelter is going to be out of the question.

  3. if the crimes were reported the police depts have victims services they can offer you tons of info also go to a church even if you aren't a member they do help -from personal exp. it will take a few different Church's to find the right one -go to the unemployment office they also provide info -its out there just hard to find ...try family anyone don't be ashamed we have all needed a helping hand just remember when your on yr feet return the favor to someone else -god speed

  4. Isn't welfare (social assistance) for people like you?

  5. The police should have information on victim services.  They can help you with temporary housing, get you job placement assistance.  Looks like you have to be more careful about your choice of friends.

  6. I am sorry for what has happened to you.  I suggest you find a church with a woman's group that could encourage you.   You can get back on your feet as long as you maintain a positive attitude and do not withdraw from life.  Supportive women will help.
