  1. Ebay

  2. Find out mailing address, or find out when before games when some players sign autographs. otherwise, it is really hard.

  3. EBAY!!!!!

  4. Go to a game early and get the autographs.

  5. buy the baseball card ones if you go through the mail its all ghost signed mostly if  you even get a response

  6. I'm not sure about the character of players today, but when I was a kid (1976-1980) I would just write a letter to the player asking nicely for an autograph.  For example, address the envelope

    Detriot Tigers

    Comerica Park

    Detroit, Michigan 48201

    Attn: Magglio Ordonez

I got all kinds of autographs from Johnny Bench, Willie Stargell, Terry Bradshaw.  And lots of team pictures.

    Good Luck!

  7. Well, Magglio rarely signs, even if you are a Tigers fan that goes to games. You either have to wear the teams gear (jersey, hat) and go where the away team's bus stops, and ask for an autograph.

  8. best time to get them is during batting practice about 2 hours before the game.  Had the most success there

  9. Well it depends if u are in boston or LA

  10. I am a huge mets fan and i just went on a roadtrip with my friends and met  THE ENTIRE TEAM!!!! The key is to:

    1. Stay overnight at the players hotel the night before getaway day (if the last game of a series is on a sunday, stay overnight from sat to sun) Hang out in the lobby in the morning from about 8 am-11 am (if it's a 1pm game) and you'll see every single player pass through because they all have to check out of their rooms! now they're not all willing to stop for fans, but here's a few extra things that helped us:

    2. I was with 2 of my friends who were girls. If you're a guy and you want autographs- bring a girl. they're much more likely to stop for us!

    3. Find a family with little cute children to hang around...at a hotel in San Diego we hung out with this family of mets fans seeking autographs and they had 4 adorable little kids- and what player could turn down an autograph for a little kid? (except for Jose Reyes who was the biggest jerk in the whole world, but don't get me started on that!)

    4. You have to be outgoing and slightly aggressive to get autographs. Don't shy away, but don't run over to them and scare them or suffocate them. Just be calm and they'll respond to that.

    5. Have something picked out to say to each of them that they could respond to. Like my friend vacations in the Dominican republic and when we met Pedro Martinez she talked to him about how beautiful his country is. Have something unique to say to each of the players you want to meet (dont say i'm your biggest fan), and they will actually have a conversation with you!

    6. Don't touch them. Most of them will put their arm around you or lean in if you're taking a picture, but I saw a guy get overly agressive with Pedro Martinez and he got escorted out of the hotel.

You'll be waiting forever to meet those players if you try to meet them in the ballpark or even outside of the park. the best bet is to meet them in the hotel they stay at on the road- (the further from their city the better) this info can be found in most teams media guide, which is published at the beginning of the year, and which you can buy on ebay.

Hope that helps- happy autograph hunting! I met all my idols- I hope you get to do the same :)

  11. Get some seats or walk down to the area around the dugout try to get near the front of the group of people that are trying to get autographs as well. I have a 100% record of getting autographs in a game, but they are not excellent players. Except I met Barry Zito and my dad gave me a Dodgers World Series (around 1980) ball signed by the team and by Walter O'Malley and Tommy LaSorta. Keep At It!

  12. Usually if you arrive to the games about 2 hours before the game starts, the players are warming out on the field and are very good in giving autographs. I know my kids have many autographs from Eric Chavez, barry zito and so on. Oh and if you go to spring training I hear the players are like family to you. Good luck!
