  1. Practice, practice, practice. Do it every chance you get, and eventually it will become second nature. Plus, be prepared, know what you need to say and how you want to say it in advanced. This makes it easier, that said, don't memorize something, just remember the basics, so you wont forget where your going.

  2. practice practice practice look at yourself in a mirror make eye contact wen you are speaking and be confident that you can do it dont use the words like, um,uh, yeah

    hope this helps!!!!

  3. I agree and will add that one has to have conviction to speak with conviction.

Know the subject through and through so the listeners don't start praying you're through! (That's why you're successful when you're speaking from the heart to friends and family.)

  4. there is a course called ! Dale Carrnegie K-195 that I took for sale and presentation and also public speaking . go on line and look up ! Dale Carnegie.com and find out where classes are available. ask your employer if they will pay for your training . it takes about 6 weeks but it is well worth it !  I scored a 4.2 grade it was awesome !      have fun !

  5. Best way is to practice, go up there and give speeches. Eye contact and confidence is two most important things. Also don't shuffle your feet or use words like "uhmm", "like".

You can also take speech classes. It's okay to be nervous many people are and it's by far one of the toughest thing to do.

  6. it's sooooo common what ur saying!!

i think we can all relate-

practice is really the only way

i turn all red, too-shaky voice & all-but i think it's cool-i think people understand that ur  just a wee bit fragile---stay sweet

  7. Good notes (so you don't lose your place when you're talking), practice and more practice, and don't move around a lot or fiddle with things while your talking.

  8. If you have a Toastmasters club in your area, it would be excellent for you.  You basicly meet with other people who are just like you and with the practice and advice that you get there, you will be better prepared of public speaking.

  9. Practice, practice in front of a mirror, practice. Make good notes and use them. Practice. Visualize that everyone in front of you is your friend. Practice. Know most of those in front of you are not brave enough to even try to speak in public. Practice. Use a voice recorder to PRACTICE. Join a public speakers club. Rotary is a good one, but there are many more.
