i can do 20 push ups in a row im 13

  3. Well, you won't get better at push ups by washing cars.

    You get better at doing push ups by doing push ups.

    I suggest getting a stop watch, and try doing push ups for 1 minute, and count how many you did.

    Say you did 50, then try to beat that the next.  Then go for 2 minutes.

    You can rest during the minute, but you can't put your knees down, you have to stay up.

  5. Do short reps of a specific number and repeat.

    I started doing 4 reps of 5 pushups and I have worked my way up to 8 push-ups now. The more you do them, the better you'll get.

  6. Hard training. Train 3 times a day, doing as many push ups as you can. Count them and set that as you`re benchmark. Ad a few each week, so you can gradually get better at it. Say for the first week you ad 5 to you`re 20. the second week you ad 10, the next week 15 and so on. But you have to do, or at least try to do you`re previous record in a row. If you`re up to 30, do 20 in a row and if you feel too tyred, rest, then do the remaining 10. push yourself to do better, but don`t overdo it to the point of stupidity, because that`s when accidents happen. As an extra precaution, keep a relative or a friend nearby, just in case. Train hard, train often. Best wishes.

  7. do a variety of push ups. try raising your feet on a chair, this will increase intensity. there is a product called "perfect pushups" that includes push up stands and an exercise dvd.
