  1. u have got figure how many gal per min. ur able to produce.....

take a 5 gal bucket and time it for 15 secs and x 4 to see how many gal per min ur getting....let say its 30 gpm..u have to add up the the amount of water each zone is using and stay under that number by 10 %

    ex:

if ur getting 30 gpm...and u have 4 heads in one zone and they demand 5 gpm to run right then u have a good set up.....30 gpm - 20 gal per min demand + 10 = 22 gals per min........now if ur not getting enough now and was getting plenty....call the water department  and ask if they have cut back on the water presure in ur area.....

  2. You can turn up the water pressure in your house with the pressure regulator that is attached to your main shut-off. Turn the s***w or bolt 'IN' to get more pressure, out for less. The reason your water pressure has dropped is because everyone else on the street that you live on has their sprinklers turned on.

  3. Run bleach though it, get rid of all the impurities, you have a calcium build up. treat you sprinkler, the same as a pool.

  4. Set your timer for 5 am. in the morning, when no one else is

using any water at all. It gives time for the roots to absorb the

water, before the sun dry's it all up, in the heat of the day.

  5. Check your pressure regulator.  It is located somewhere on the side of your house where the city water line is connected.  About 70psi is normal.  If it is OK, check for clogs or leaks in your sprinkler system.  If it is less, call a plumber, good luck

  6. The pipe size must be chosen accurately.

The other answerers have some really good suggestions too.

  7. If you have your own water well& not city water . Then you need to do what Richard K said to do. That is to pour a gal . of bleach into your water well. That will clean your pipes & help remove the calcium build up.I have a water well and I have to run bleach through my pipes. I have a lot of calcium in my water. You might also want to check the water pressure.Go outside to your well and turn the water on .Now watch the gage it should come on at 40 psi & go off at 60psi that is a go setting for a water well to have.I sure hope that someone's answer helps you out. Good luck to you.

  8. reduce the exits.

itl be less water but better pressure like putting your finger on  the hose..does that help??  aka 2 many

  9. During summer time hours more people are using the water...which drops the pressure in your lines. The only way you can get more pressure is when they stop watering or you can hook up a pump on your side of water meter. You should only need to turn it on when you are watering the yard. I did this years ago....man the neighbors hated me. My sprinklers were full spread and they barely had any water coming out. I never told them what I did...I just said I had a better sprinkler system.

  10. you should check if u can find any soggy spots in your yard u may have a leak =[ *underground* or maybe adjust your pressure regulator

  11. Do you have a well or city water.  either way see what your incoming preasure is.  I think around 40psi is normal.
