How do i get candyfloss hair?

I am having trouble achiving the "candyfloss hair" or the "preppy big hair" a bit like the below links, if you have any ideas or tips please tell me? Thankyou.

TEP 1:  Start by working a volume-infused mousse into damp hair, getting your fingers into the roots and shaking your hair as you blow-dry.

Redken Guts 10 Volume Spray Foam is great for adding bulk without weighing down the hair.

# STEP 2: Once hair is about 90% dry, add lots of texturising product, such as L'Oreal Professional Paris techni.art Texture Spray Next, tease the hair out from the roots and gently back comb. Take care not to break the hair.

# STEP 3: Use kirby grips and bobby pins to pin up sections of hair to the scalp. Don't be too precious about it though - keep it nice and messy!

# STEP 4: To make sure the hair stays in place, spray in a little Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray all over.

loads of back combing, hairspray, and loads of chemicals to dry it out even more! i wouldnt recommend this as a permanent hairstyle! u will ruin your hair.

Hairspray your hair and before it dries.backcomb and put more hairspray on just to make sure it stays up.

cool for Halloween but not for Day Time.

It's just backcombed loads.  I don't really think it's something anyone should be sporting off of the runway, it looks like a birds nest.

tip ur head upside down n ack comb from the roots do section by section and hairspray it....

It's just REALLY teased and backcombed A LOT with a lot of hairspray and holding gel put into it.  :]]
