  1. You can use them for cooking.. and aren't as gritty...

  2. It's the same.  I love crystals better, personally i think they're tastier but then i wouldn't really know, maybe it's just the appearance that makes me think that way. =))

  3. i have a coffe grinder and i just stick in the coffe beans and grind away

  4. They are both  almost the same. I still prefer coffee grinds though. They always taste fresher. Another piece of news I wanted to share here is I heard that Gevalia coffee company is currently giving away 3 boxes of their coffee along with a coffee mug for just $3. Sounds interesting. Read about it at the site below.

  5. Coffee 'grinds' are the ground coffee beans. And No Folgers instant is NOT the same thing.

Folgers Crystals is coffee that has been brewed then freeze dried to extract the liquid, leaving a powdery residue.

You can use them the same, but the 'grinds' will provide you with a little chewy material while you drink your coffee, unless you filter them out.

  6. If you're putting into a drink coffee grounds are what's used to make coffee.  Yup it's just coffee from a can or package you toss into a coffee maker.

Instant may or may not work as coffee grounds of the same quantity would make more cups of coffee then the same of instant.

However, I am not sure of the ratio difference and if you add coffee grounds to something they stay there unless sifted out.

    Instant coffee would completely disolve.

Note: I know this yet I can't ever drink or eat anything with coffee in it of any kind.  I'm allergic to it!
