How do i get credit in the 1st place?

Im 20 years old and dont have a credit rating at all, so how do i get the credit in order to get a credit rating in the 1st place! sorry if thats confusing lol

orchard bank will pretty much give you a credit card with a low limit to begin with, OR you can open a secured credit card from wells fargo bank or others. Good luck.

Well a bank knows best but they will also try to get money out of you but pay attention they know best. Ask them that question such as in Bank of America, you can have appointments ans you can get help from them. My mom goes there for useful hints and strategies for saving up money.

Okay, the best thing to do is start out with 1 credit card.  

Usually department store cards are pretty easy to get your hands on. Now the trick is to only use it when you HAVE the money to pay for it. Pay off your balance IN FULL by the billing date and you wont pay the high interest rates. Another suggestion would be a gas card, but again PAY OFF IN FULL by the billing date. Repeat this process, until you has three or four lines of credit extended to you, its okay if you dont use the cards after the first time, but beware of the annual fees, look for cards that dont have annual charges related to them.  These will act as positive revolving accounts and boost your credit score dramatically. AGAIN: Only use when you HAVE the cash to pay for it; and PAY OFF IN FULL. Now you are on your way to good credit.
